Halintours, Inc., is an independent tour operator specializing in natural history, archaeology, and cultural tour programs. Benny and Carol Cespedes started the company in 1986 while resident in Costa Rica and have developed a reputation for expertise in travel and environmental issues affecting Central America. They strive to observe and promote a travel ethic that protects both the human and natural ecology of these beautiful destinations.

Since Carol is a travel writer and Benny, an accomplished photographer, they now are active in preparing publications for the travel market, while also personally escorting selected tour groups on the extraordinary itineraries described in this website
