Marenco Beach & Rain Forest Lodge is a Costa Rican, privately-owned nature reserve and lodge located in what is probably Costa Rica's greatest natural endowment, the rain forest and scenic coastal regions of the Osa Peninsula.

Marenco's breathtaking, exotic coastal location provides unlimited opportunities for adventure, family recreation, nature study, research and yes; even some rest and relaxation, in one of the world's classic wilderness areas. Ecotourists, natural history travelers, researchers, student groups, birdwatchers, and beachcombers will all be delighted with the variety of environments and activities that Marenco offers. Marenco's romantic setting has also made it a favorite with honeymooners. 

Activities and Hikes:

Osa Reef and Rainforest Adventure (5 days/ 4 nights)

  1. Fly on SANSA Airlines to Drake's Bay. Transfer by boat to Marenco.
  2. Hike Marenco's private rainforest reserve, enjoy a swim in the Rio Claro, then hike the beach trail to San Josecito Beach for lunch followed by swimming, snorkeling, beach time.
  3. Transfer by boat to Corcovado National Park's San Pedrillo Station.  Hiking ad picnic.
  4. Cruise to Isla del Cano to snorkel on the reef and hike the trails of this strange island sacred to indigenous peoples.
  5. Return by plane to San Jose.

Price $585 per person double occupancy

Includes all transportation, lodging, tours, guide services, tour picnics. Not included: Meals and beverages at lodge restaurant.
